will work into one or two standard telephone lines enabling either line
to be switched

circuit is easily controlled via any typical mixing desk control circuit

which
is activated when a studio microphone channel is opened,

thus preventing
the audio ringing signal being heard on air.

The unit
(W280 x D290 x H80mm) can easily be placed on a shelf

and it's
flat top provides a platform for a telephone receiver.

Music
on hold requires standard OdB into 10K unbalanced i.e station or studio
output.

VISUAL TELECOM RINGING INDICATOR

This
unit is designed to visually indicate that a telephone is ringing.
|
|
Aimed
at the hard of hearing or situations when a normal audio ringing signal
|
|
is not wanted or cant be used, i.e. broadcast studios, conference centres,
etc.
|
|
Unlike
the normal L.E.D. ringing indicators, this unit uses a 230 volt mains
|
|
powered standard lamp which can easily be seen by persons in the vicinity.
|

is an opto-coupled device supplied in an insulated enclosure

The telecom line is used to call the above remotely
installed equipment which will manually

or automatically connect hold coil to the line, causing
ringing to cease and circuit to be established.

||||
|
The D.T.M.F. signal can now be fed down the line. These
are received and decoded by the remote
|
||||
|
equipment which causes appropriate logic circuit to
go high or relay to latch in held (energised) condition
|
||||
|
.
|
||||
|
Any established mode can be released normally by use
of HASH symbol on key pad.
|
||||
|
Where unit incorporating auto line claim and release
is used board will respond after three rings
|
||||
|
establishing a D.C. path across the line thus causing
ringing signal to cease.
|
||||
|
Unit will automatically disconnect from line three seconds
after it is released at the local end.
